Peter has always been interested in all things Whitty from an early stage, having questioned all old relatives in years gone by and gathered all information together.

Peter was born in Liverpool of Irish parents, One of 7 children of Daniel Whitty and Margaret Doran from Cranford north Wexford. Peter has put together a very large family Tree dating back to1750. Reports indicate that after the dispersed Whitty
family from South Wexford that one part of the Family settled in North Wexford. Again, here in Ireland because of the fire in the
Four Courts in Dublin in the early 1900 we are missing a lot records for over 150 years, so we can only assume that this Whitty family is part of missing link, as many more
are.
